Last year, I did monthly posts on where I was with all my projects, but I found seeing the list each month overwhelming. Then life took over my sewing time so I had little or no time for personal sewing. I thought I would switch it up by posting a weekly check-in on what I’ve done each week it would be a good way to keep me accountable as well as remind what I was able to get done.
So last week (yes I am already behind in my posting. sigh), I mainly worked on piecing more sections of a scrap quilt. I had leftovers from the row by row bag swap with my local guild. Since I finished the quilt that had been started and there were only a few pieces left, I offered to keep the bag, add my own scraps and piece another one.
I trimmed 3 veteran lap quilts, getting them ready for binding.
I came across these blocks (another donation quilt) while looking for black strips to use in the first quilt above so they are under consideration.
And this is back on the long arm.
Now a lot of sewing, but I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things. It feels good to be back in my studio even if it is in short spurts.
How about you? Do you have new goals for this year?
