A Quick Quilt

I was given the fabric for this “cheater” quilt:

Winnie the Pooh Cheater

It was fun and quick to quilt. I had just enough fabric from trimming the quilt to make a narrow (2 inch strip) binding. The binding and back are slightly darker than the same fabric in the top. I think the top made have faded over time. I think this is a quilt that has been around for while. The wind kicked up just at the right time.

A decent size for a crib or play mat at  32 x 39 inches. This will get donated to a community food bank that provides a Christmas “shop” for families in December.

Pooh panels are not cheating. They can’t be! It’s Pooh!

Pooh + gingham = adorable fabric! I like the clever quilting too, it really fits 🙂

Pooh is certainly a big hit. I hope that it is well loved.

I like the circle quilting idea around each panel piece and I love quilting wishbones too!! This is an adorable quilt and the perfect charity donation. Inspired to see the potential in a panel.
