Disappearing Pinwheel Times Two

Times two, not because I made two, but because when I was making it I kept getting my turns mixed up. So I ended up with a planned mistake. I finally gave it and worked to bet the patterns and colors to balance.  1-DSCN7417This is a result of two Missouri Star Quilt Company tutorials. Disappearing Pinwheel:2-DSCN7418   and Disappearing Pinwheel 2:3-DSCN7419I did make some adjustments to the pattern to make your measurements work out easier that I explain in this earlier post. 4-DSCN7421This quilt finished is 32 x 43. A nice baby sized quilt suitable for either gender.

This quilt is for sale on my Etsy Shop, stop over and take a look.

This was a while in the making. Are there any finishes for you this weekend?

Enjoy the Journey, Jackie

I really like how this turned out, especially with the planned mistake. I’ve got the Disappearing Pinwheel on my list of projects that I eventually want to try but I really like how you combined it with the 2nd variation. Very clever. Thanks for linking up to Anything Goes Mondays!

Thank you Diana, I didn’t want to do any ripping out, and I didn’t have enough fabric to make two, one of each design. Certainly different.
