While getting ready to write this post I was thinking I really hadn’t accomplished much in June but in reviewing last months WIP’s, I discovered I did finish up more than I thought. Plus the things I started and finished in June.
Still on the docket:
Black, White and Red quilt:
Now that I know how large I plan to make this and I have all the pieces cut it, it will be a leader/ender project. I doubt it will get done in July, but you never know.
I did get a little sidetracked and made these selvage edge coasters from the black white and red selvage edges:
Still quilting this:
I did a few of the blocks with a walking foot, but found it annoying to twist and turn the quilt constantly. Recently switched to my free motion foot. I figure it is a good way to practice stitching straight lines regardless of direction. Challenging, let me tell you.
A little more cutting on this project:
What are your July projects?
Enjoy the Journey, Jackie
