Darla from the Scientific Quilter, Katie from Katie’s Quilting Corner, Pam from Hip to be Square and Nonnie from Nonnie’s Quilting Dreams put together the “Super Bowl Sew In” on Twitter for those that would prefer to sew while family members watched the Super Bowl.
A back injury prevented me from doing too much sitting so the projects I have that need to be quilted are on hold for now.
I used this as an opportunity to unroll the “Little Gatherings” Jelly Roll from Moda Fabrics to start a new project.
With minimal stitching, I was able to prepare the strips for a major cutting session.
I sewed a light and dark strip together and using a strip ruler from Creative Grids I cut each set into triangles.
