Ben Hayden, a young man, works as a chaplain serving veterans in a local Hospice Care Facility. We Honor Veterans is a national program designed to honor veterans nearing end of life. He is looking for volunteers to make lap quilts for these veterans.
When he presents a quilt, it is with a pin and card. The card reads:
On behalf of a grateful nation and our staff at NorthCare Hospice, we offer you this hand crafted quilt in honor of your faithful and dedicated service to the Armed Forces of the United States of America. We present this quilt to you now knowing full well you have sacrificed much, that we may enjoy freedom and live in liberty. This quilt is just a small token of our genuine and tremendous appreciation for what you gave in serving the nation with courage, integrity m and honor. NorthCare Hospice thanks you for your years of service! We are privileged to be able to serve you now.
Blessings,
