Isaiah 40:31 … but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
This is a favorite verse and fitting for me this year as my “word” for the year is “strength.”
I did most of the cutting and piecing while camping last fall. Here it is on trailer floor. My design wall in the camper.
Here is a close-up of the quilting.
I think the window panes are a little too wide for this particular panel, but when I mention that most people haven’t noticed.
The quilt finished is 33″ x 47″ and I used Superior So Fine 504 thread. I would have given to a family member this past fall if I could have finished it in time. RIght now it will either go on a wall as a reminder of the verse or it will be gifted to someone else. I haven’t decided yet.
I like the look of these types of quilts and I’m glad I made one. It’s just not my style of piecing so I don’t think I’ll make another one.
A finish, finally. On the journey, Jackie
