Ann and Lana joined me for the sew-in over a week ago. With all the Christmas events and rush, I debated about cancelling figuring no one would come. Gladly I had company.
Ann finished her quilt by using a star stitch on the machine to “tie” the quilt. This will make a nice lap quilt for the gentlemen in the nursing home.
Lana is working on a quilt for a veteran and she decided to make a strip pieced sashing set for between her rows.
I used the time to empty my scrap bins and fill some dog beds for our local Humane Society. It’s still all part of the giving back while using up everything little bit.
A somewhat quiet night, but that was okay, work has been crazy and the rush to get customer Christmas projects done has kept me very busy.
Enjoying the company, and the process. On the journey, Jackie
