Vacation, Camping and Quilting, Week in Review

This is late getting posted, I’m not sure what happened, but here it is.

Our last vacation of the year is spent doing a lot of nothing. Lots of relaxing, golf for my husband and fabric shopping for me. Night time and morning campfires.

While out reading one afternoon, I was able to catch a photo of this sparrow even though it was a distance away.

And this praying mantis wanted to share my chair. It was over 6 inches large. I didn’t know they could get that big.

I pieced my hashtag blocks. I need to get them trimmed and signed in the next few days so I can them in the mail by Thursday.

Hashtag blocks

These left over strips from the blocks will become 1 1/2 inch squares for my mini/postage stamp quilt.

Hashtag strips leftovers

Pieced these strips for a couple of donation quilts.

Started on some square piecing…

And bound these mini quilts using left over HST. They finish at 6 inches. These are truly a “done is good” project. Not a stellar binding, but I’m trying to ignore it.

Enjoying some down time, on the journey. Jackie
