Showing Off

I’ve mentioned before I attend “club” at my local sewing center once a month. The women were kind enough to let Noah and Grace show off their recent finishes.

I’m not sure how long they will continue to sew, but I am sure their desire to give will stay with them.

Thank-you to the MO Sewing Club members that graciously encouraged on two little ones. Maybe someday they will be regular members. 🙂

I really enjoyed seeing the items that your grandchildren made. They did a great job. You have every right to be proud of them.

Thanks Norma. 🙂 I hope they want to continue.

OMG! How sweet! Thank the ladies from me for encouraging Noah & Grace. It takes so little and a little applause is a great way to keep them sewing! I am sure they will continue if you work with them on projects they enjoy. Have you see the book by Sophie Kerr? She is Bill Kerr and Weeks Ringle’s daughter and they wrote a book about sewing for kids. It had a lot of projects that would keep them interested. I think also taking them with to buy fabric would encourage them as well.

    Thank you for sharing!

They received plenty of applause, it is a great group of ladies. I’ll have to check out the book you suggested. I plan to do some blog posts on what I have learned as well. We’ve talked about fabric shopping, just haven’t done it yet. Need to make it a priority.
