Week in Review November 30, 2014

I got some serious quilting, piecing, cutting, cleaning and organizing done on Black Friday and yesterday. It felt good to get so much done and put away.

I finished quilting and binding these:
Veteran Quilts

This went on and came off the long arm, binding is next.Candy Ribbon

This is now on the long arm. All straight line with a lot of stops and starts. I’m quilting it the same as my Chocolate Boxes quilt. Good practice and patience testing since this one is on the long arm and the other one was on my domestic machine. Christmas Boxes

I cut the med/dark pieces for Charlotte’s Scrap in a Box. This is a set for a boy quilt. I had enough scraps to make one for a girl. Most likely these will become Project Linus quilts.  I still have to cut the blender and background fabric, but it’s a start.

Grateful for a long weekend and time to sew. Jackie

The Black Friday Giveaway is still open until midnight tonight, if you haven’t participated yet. I also plan to have a link-up so you can link to your sewing projects.
