Thank you to our Veteran’s, a Flying Geese Quilt

Monday’s Math became this:Veteran PinwheelsThey are the leftovers pieces I put together after making the flying geese units from these We Honor Veteran blocks: Veteran Star UnitsOne of the quilts can be seen here.

In order to make a lap sized quilt, I need to add plenty of background fabric.

Option 1 (I have enough, just didn’t put them all on my design wall):

Veteran Pinwheel Option 1Option 2 (I will have to make two more, Ugh!): Veteran Pinwheel Option 2

These were fussy to make, but a perfect mindless project.

I like the second layout the best. I’m just not excited about making 2 more units.

What layout do you like the best? Would you work with pieces this small?

Thanking our veterans on the Journey, Jackie

I think I’d make two more and go for the second layout. It’s very pretty!

I regret to inform you that I also like the second quilt best. I’m sorry that sentences you to the two extra units.

Thanks Sandi and Gretchen, I’ve like the 2nd option better also…..sigh. 🙂
