When You Can’t Sew Just One

I don’t know about you, but I have many projects in various stages of the quilting process including many in my head. Now I have two ready to be cut and sewn. One is for a gift for next year, the other is “just because.”

I’ve had this layer cake for a long time and tried out a pattern idea (No Bake Layer Cake) a while back, that I scraped. 1-DSCN7041

I didn’t like where it was going so it was set aside until this new idea germinated:2-DSCN7078

I’ve had this pattern in my head for a while and found this fabric that I thought will be perfect. I’ve added the red for a pop of color.

So what one would you work on?

Not enough sewing time on the Journey, Jackie

I’d chain piece them both at once. That’s what I’m doing with one or two or three or four quilts. It’s lots of fun.

      Gretchen,

I considered using one as a leader/ender but I use a different foot on my machine for the flying geese (get better results). I have another one that I am considering that may become my leader/ender quilt.

I am confused. The black, white, taupe project has been combined with the red, white and blue project?
