Did some shopping.1-DSCN7011

The top fabric is for a quilt I’m planning, pictured on my design wall. The other 2 fabrics were on sale and will make good backing fabrics. The thread is Superior. My local quilt shop carries it and I wanted to give it a try. The hexagons, are just because.

I started cutting scraps for another veteran star quilt2-DSCN7015This quilt is off the long arm and ready for me to finish binding. I plan to do a serpentine stitch on the machine. It was pieced by one of the ladies that help make the We Honor Veteran quilts. 4-DSCN7027A postcard for someone at my quilt guild who is moving away. I’ve been showing my recent postcards (Easter and spring postcard exchange) and it was suggested we make postcards as a gift. I just started attending the guild, so I really don’t know this person, but I plan to wish her well in her new location.5-DSCN6990This veteran quilt is now on my long arm, pieced by a woman in her 80’s who is no longer getting out much. 1-DSCN7033

My finishes this week include a T-shirt quilt and Scrapitude.

This is on my design wall waiting for more fabric. I can’t wait to get started. 1-DSCN6992

So what’s on your design wall this week?
