It can be difficult to find a pattern and/or fabric for a teen boy. After much consideration, I thought a jean quilt made from old jeans would be a good choice. I collected old jeans and I think I cut 6 1/2 inch squares getting as many cuts as possible from each pair. I also incorporated his love of soccer (and other sports he loved at the time) with embroidery designs. This month is Bryce’s birthday and I made this quilt several years ago for him, before I started blogging. I’m not sure if he still used it, though I do know it traveled all over to different sports meets. His next quilt will be next year for graduation. I just want to know how they grow up so fast.
