Week in Review March 30

This was a week of more crafting than quilting.

I am not sure how someone can lose a night mask, especially since mine goes on my nightstand each morning, but I did. Instead of buying one, I made this.1-DSCN6160

I plan to make another one with 3 sets of batting instead of one.

One of my students has been working on crazy quilted postcards for Easter, so I decided to follow suit. Embroidery done, the “crazy” part next.

5-DSCN6176Next in the craft area are these cute little bags I did on my embroidery machine. 2-DSCN6164These are for the “insanity” charm swap (1.5 inch squares) I am participating in. 3-DSCN6162On the quilting side…

Scrapitude is quilted and waiting for me to trim and bind.7-DSCN6171Christian’s quilt is in process on the long arm. I am practicing stitch in the ditch on this one.

6-DSCN6167And to get ready for next week I pulled this quilt out so I would remember to add a label….

And I need to plan the pattern for this quilt, a May birthday so no more dawdling.  4-DSCN6180Not a lot of quilting but a lot of crafting. Sometimes a break is in order.

Do you bring in other crafting into your quilting world?
