Week in Review February 23, 2014

I think every week I have things that seem to slow my progress with my quilting goals but each week I am surprised at what I get done. Sickness took me down at the beginning of the week and work the second half.

When I am super busy or stressed, I clean and organize to put at least part of my world in order. Yesterday and today I focused on my studio.

Major cleaning, lots of putting away and some reorganization. I went from this:

Though I must say, you’d be impressed with all the nooks and crannies that have been cleaned and straightened with their contents updated. I use every bit of available space and then some in this room. Not everything is as I want it, but I’m looking at long-term projects to get it where I want it to be.

On the sewing front:

Scrapitude is pieced! Though I may add a border. Thoughts?

Another Minkee finish- this isn’t the finished photo, still have to take those. 1-DSCN5641Commissioned t-shirt quilt almost done. Easy meander stitch.
