Stained Glass Quilt

This quilt is a result of a class I took many years ago. The basis was a stack and whack where the four fabrics were laid together, cut and rearranged. The kit included 2 sets of fabric; one square of each color and enough black fabric for the separating strips. The original design didn’t call for the black sashing. I purchased 3 more kits and added the sashing strips to make a larger quilt.

I did a plain straight stitch in the ditch to call it done. P1140107

I’m linking up with Jenny over at Quiltin” Jenny for Throwback Thursday.

What quilts do you have in your closet that are from your past? Why not post them for posterity and link up with Jenny.

Enjoy the Journey, Jackie

Thanks for linking up! I have an old Stack and Whack quilt – or should I say top. I should pull that out and see if I can get it finished.
