Week in Review February 2, 2014

I have only been at this for a month, but I am finding it very helpful to list weekly my progress. I tend to forget what I have done and focus on what I have yet to finish otherwise.

This week’s progress:

Red, Black and White quilt is finished, though I need a name.

Tumbler Candle Mat, not well pieced. Someone suggested it was how I matched up my rows. hummm

I pieced another Minkee baby quilt.

I saved back most of the blues, greens, some purples, white and yellow to make one that is all boy.

  • Minkee Baby Quilt
  • Caiden’s Space Quilt.
  • Camden’s Baseball Quilt
  • Disappearing Pinwheel
  • Stonehenge Sue Nami

This is almost quilted and ready to be bound. 2-DSCN5532

For the Sports Ball Sew-in on Twitter, I focused on a couple of commissioned jobs, though I didn’t have as much time to sew as I had hoped.

Ribbon blankets, names are hidden, as I know they are gifts. The ones on the left are complete. Still have a bit to go on the other set. 1-DSCN5649T-shirt quilt, the shirts are all interfaced and cut. Next step sashing.4-DSCN5653

Did the weekend get away from you as it did me?

Enjoy the Journey, Jackie

So do I. I keep wanting to collect more fabrics and try out another quilt pattern.
