Camden’s Bear Quilt

When Camden and Colson were here visiting for Christmas they both wanted to do some more sewing after making their ornaments.

Camden wanted to make a quilt for his bear. You may remember Benny over here.

I gave him a box of charm squares from Connecting Threads to choose from.

Here he is pinning. I showed him how to nest his seams and use the 1/4 in foot on the machine.

Wow, you’ve got an up & coming quilter there! Learning skills to use in their leisure time.

That is awesome! My daughter and I just finished up some fabric shopping for her next quilt. I’m not sure who is more excited, me or her!

I feel the same way when my grandkids want to sew. I do wait for them to lead though. I would rather they ask than I push.
