Week In Review

Started a baby quilt with Minkee charms:1-DSCN5405

Cut out the squares to make 70 tooth fairy pillows for 1st graders at a local elementary school. I will be providing the space, machines, and sewing help for members of the PTA later this week:1-DSCN5428

I started the embroidery on the space quilts for Caiden and Christian:2-DSCN5435

Worked on crazy quilt star ornaments during mini retreat:

I didn’t have tons of time to sew this week, but I am thrilled I have some finishes and almost finishes to report.

How was your week?

Enjoy the Journey, Jackie

Minky charms, now that is a good idea, I see they come pinked so you don’t have to deal with the cutting. You’ve been very productive this week 🙂

Carol, now that I know what to do and not to do, the next quilt will match up a lot better I suspect. It makes an easy quilt to put together.

Dang. I so thought I’d posted a comment to this nearly as soon as you posted it, but now I see it didn’t go through. Sorry about that. I was curious about the Minkee charms. I’d never seen them before. I love those crazy quilt ornaments especially–what a great way to use scraps!

Sandy, I couldn’t resist the Minkee charms which is why I bought so many packages, and who can resist a good sale.

The ornaments were actually inspiration from Jaye.

      Thanks for stopping by.
