Ornament Inspiration

I started selvage edge stocking ornaments last year:

I really didn’t like them so I put them in my Christmas scrap bin and promptly forgot about them.

After inspiration from Jaye over at Artquiltmakeralong with a few scraps, decorative stitches, batting, felt and ribbons I have several of these:

I am loving these!!!! I love working on them and I love the finished product. These are hard to give away. I’ll have to make more before any leave my house.

Thank you Jaye.

Where is your inspiration coming from lately?

Cute! I may have to knock out some of those. I have a ton of batting scraps that would be good to use for ornaments and mug rugs and the like. Great way to use up all sorts of scraps!

Cute! I could see a tree in your sewing studio with nothing but these. I think that would be great!

Hi, Jackie. Adorable ornaments and of course the red/green color combination is always so pleasing. Wishing you a happy New Year with lots of stitching adventures!
