If you haven’t had a chance yet, the Black Friday Giveaway is still open for those that still have sewing days for the weekend.

I started the day with this teaser for the postcard challenge, it is now finished but pictures won’t be posted until it is in the mail. DSCN5043 (640x398)_wm

I have been practicing my free motion quilting on this quilt with my new long arm. This is my second quilt on the long arm and I have decided to try all kinds of ideas in the blocks.

I recently found this baseball panel and though my daughter’s two oldest wanted to pick out fabric for their new quilts, I couldn’t resist. The second quilt will be in blue and I will need to add borders to make it large enough for their beds. 20131129_203555 (479x640)_wmSo what did you work on for Black Friday? Are you sewing throughout the weekend? I hope to make more progress on my long arm and the baseball quilts.

Enjoy the Journey, Jackie

You have done a lot of work over the weekend! Good work. I love your FMQ sampler. Your practice looks great! I didn’t know you would be working on Scrapitude as well.

I am not a fan of mystery quilts, but I love scrap quilts and this scrap quilt seemed to be truly designed for scraps so I thought I would give it a try.

I am loving the practice on the long arm. I did plan to give the quilt away but I think I need to keep it for reference, not only for designs I have tried but to see where I have been.
