Here is a picture from the quilts presented yesterday in honor of Veteran’s Day. The young man on the right is the Chaplain who will take the quilts to the facility where he works. I hope there is someone in your life you can thank for the service they have provided to keep our country free. As my 5-year old grandson stated when asked if he knew what veteran’s were, “Yes, they’re people who fight for us so we can still be Americans.” Well said Caiden.
Last year we finished 12 quilts, this year 14. Wonderful job everyone.
Here is our empty shelf ready for more.
Thank you if you or a loved one has fought to keep our country free.
Free on the Journey, Jackie
