Wednesday WIP’s

I am finally able to spend some time in my sewing studio. Results, more tops ready for quilting.

I’ll post details on this one when it’s completed.

This is my black/white/red leader/ender quilt. Even the long seams are done as a “leader” or an “ender.” I thought I was finished but when I put it up on the design wall I realized a few rows were turned around. Can you spot them?

Looking at the top, I thought it was worse than it was, but I only had to rip out 3 seams. DSCN4517 (484x640) web

This next quilt is for my grandson Noah. I am not sure I like where I am headed with this so it may change completely. If you have followed my blog for a while, that will not surprise you. DSCN4519 (640x480) webDSCN4521 (640x480) web

Of course there are many other things still in process but these are the recent projects under my needle.

What’s under your needle today?

Enjoy the Journey, Jackie

you do such beautiful work! the first one is my favorite, probablly because of the batiks and a wonderful color combination. All that light space makes a great spot for FMQ (if you have the time to get that elaborate)

      Thank you Carol,
I love the fabrics and colors of the first one and I do plan to use the white space for fun quilting.
