Student Moments in July

I hold classes one evening a week and one Saturday a month. They are structured in such a way that everyone can work on their own project.

Here are some highlights from July’s classes.

Judy is still steadily working on her king size quilt. She still insists she won’t do it again (see here) but this is her second quilt. Her first was lap size but she was going to stop there. That is what they all say.

Nita is contemplating her next move.

Isn’t this just darling? Student Classes July 2013Rhonda with her finishing touches on a t-shirt quilt. Wait until you hear her description of meandering. Student Classes July 2013

A bowl-shaped hot pad by Rhonda. Gifts are starting to be made. Student Classes July 2013

Kathy’s mini paper-pieced quilt. She’s been bit by the quilting bug. More on that later. Notice the pattern that emerges using different colored thread?

A bit of hand embroidery by Barbara. Very sweet.

Barbara is also working on an appliqued quilt, in a quilt as you go style. Student Classes July 2013

Do you get to share your quilt/sewing love with anyone?

Enjoy the Journey, Jackie
