I Can’t Spell

I do math well, but I can’t spell. I think spell check is the next best thing to sliced bread. Unfortunately when I am not using a computer, my poor spelling skills get the best of me.

My misspelled Project Hope quilt:

And here I thought I would finish a project without having to use a seam ripper.

Sigh.

Oh dang. I hate it when I don speel things right! Well, that’s ok. a least you caught it before someone else did. 🙂

Susan, surprisingly my photographer, who is nutty about correct spelling etc, didn’t catch it.

  • Marelize of Stitch by Stitch had a sad story like this to tell once. On her Goddess Quilt. Seam rippers… We hate to use them, but they are such a good friend to have around! Personally, I get to use my seam ripper enough…. Perhaps I will avoid doing any writing on quilts!

Go for writing, it really is fun, just check your spelling first. I do a LOT of seam ripping.
