Several of us are still meeting each month to work on quilts for veterans in hospice care. There are 11 of us in all and each month the number varies on everyone’s schedule. Last night there were 4 of us. Sadly I keep forgetting to get a picture of the photographer in the group so she is not in any of the pictures. Sorry Kathy. 🙁
A few pictures:
One top was pieced and basted. Two tops made progress with binding, and I was able to start some star blocks
Quotes from the evening:
“Binding, I think binding is where she is going to make me do math. I don’t want to do math.”
“No one should have to do math on a Friday night.”
“Okay, what was it that she did? I know she did this, or maybe it was this. I can figure this out. Don’t tell, I know I can do it.”
“The machine is not moving, I am getting a bird’s nest, why won’t this go.”
Thanks Ladies for your help and humor and willingness to learn something new.
We have already finished and given 12 lap size quilts, have 5 more ready and 12 in various stages of completion.

Enjoy the Journey, Jackie
