February’s Veteran Quilt Sew-in

Each month I host a Sew-in for women to come and work on donation quilts. We started with quilts for Veteran’s in a local hospice care facility. You can find more about our quilts and previous sew-in’s on the “We Honor Veteran’s page.”

There were 4 of us this month and everyone was very focused on their project. While there was some chatting and eating, it was mostly sewing.

Mary finished quilting and prepared her quilt for binding:

Marji is working on a strip quilt with leftover strips for all the cutting:

I helped with the ironing and cutting:

Here is the magic with the possible layouts:

What excites you?

Enjoy the Journey, Jackie

Thank you, it has been fun. Plus I may have a few quilting converts. 🙂
