I am a goal setter, list maker, obsessive organizer (for those that know me, yes I see the feigned look of surprise on your face). I have participated in Sandy’s (over at Quilting for the Rest of Us) quilt goals each year, though much of what I set out to do each year I don’t announce. This year I am putting most of my quilting goals out there for the world to see.
Top of my list, finish up my UFO’s and WIP’s which are listed over here, and I actually hope to finish them up in January.
I have many new projects simmering in my brain for quite some time using these fabrics.
A quilt using these Japanese Taupe’s:
This table runner kit that I purchased at the 2012 AQS show in Oct. I hope to finish it before this years show. 🙂
I love these fabrics and I am waiting for pattern inspiration to use them:
I bought this paper piecing pattern specifically for my Stonehenge fabrics:
This layer cake:
I attempted one idea over here, but decided I didn’t like where it was going.
When I saw this fabric over two years ago, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. So why is it still sitting waiting for me to act. One, the fear of “what if” and two, life/other projects/demands etc.
I have this fabric and pattern for a quilt for one of my granddaughters. It was planned for her 2nd birthday, she just turned 3. Whoops:
A black, white and red quilt:
I think I need to collect more though… what do you think?
And finally why I don’t plan to finish this I do hope to start this:
In case you haven’t figured out by now, this is the quilt portion only of my goals. Plus, I know there will be unplanned and donation quilts to make along the way.
More to come……
Enjoy the journey, Jackie
