Getting Ready for BDSI

December 26th is Boxing Day and there will be a #BDSI (Boxing Day Sew-in) group on Twitter sharing sewing progress. My life has been crazy busy so I am taking some time to finish up little projects and “to do”s” so the day and my mind will be free of sewing and housework clutter.

Completed so far, Device Cord Bag:DSCN3348 (1024x539)_wmI taught a class early in the month and had several samples made up in various stages of completion to help visually show the different steps. A couple of the bags were sold and I had these two left to finish. They will be gifts for grandchildren. I plan to put crayons and markers and a small notebook in each.

Another finish – “Noah” Banner:DSCN3353 (594x1024)_wmI stated this a l – o – n – g time ago. I was looking for just the right ribbon/twill for hanging the letters and I found it this past weekend. This is for a May birthday. DSCN3355 (768x1024)_wm

Yet to start:DSCN3360 (768x1024)_wmI plan to make several neck, and hand warmers, a set for home and work. And maybe some for future gifts.

Infinity Scarf from Pink Chalk Fabrics

Finally I have a birthday card I want to make:DSCN3362 (1024x768)_wm

It may not happen and I won’t sweat it.

Hopefully the above items will get done so I am free to work on these:DSCN3330 (1024x768)_wm DSCN3323 (1024x768)_wm

Do you have plans for Boxing Day?

Enjoy the journey,
