Round 2 of Veteran Quilts

Last month on Veteran’s Day we gave the first 12 quilts we’ve made to the hospice care chaplain, there were still many quilts in process (not everyone can come each time) and I still have quite a bit of fabric left, so this is “round 2.”

There was a lot of seam ripper action going on from just about everyone. That resulted in a quieter group.P1140431 (1024x768)_wm

Results of the day, two quilts finished and progress on several more:

Three finished quilts on top, along with more supplies. Five in process quilts on the second shelf and four more on the bottom.

Not too shabby.

Enjoy the journey, Jackie

Please tell your group how much I like and respect what y’all do.

Thank you, I will be sure to pass it on. They will be very encouraged. I have had 13 particpate over the past few months many who have never sewn and those who are sewers were not quilters, other than 2. There is a core group of 8 that come whenever they can.
