Colors on the Street Corner

It’s time to play again, with color. Check out Sandy’s post for this week play rules. This week she is playing on two streets.

Here are the four that each reside on a street corner. I started with green, crossed over to red, split the difference to find blue-violet and then crossed again to yellow-orange. I like the contrast in the colors. I think a scrappy quilt would be striking in these colors.

The other street that Sandy is playing on this week is one with 3 friends. Blue-green lives across from red-orange and makes friends with the colors on either side, red and orange. Another very interesting color combination.

None of the quilts I have on hand follow either of these colors patterns. Maybe there needs to be one in my future.
