There was a Labor Day Sew In hosted on Twitter by several quilt podcasters this past weekend. For many the event started first thing on Friday and continued through Monday.

While I didn’t get as much done as I hoped this is what I worked on:

Veteran Quilt Leaders and Enders.                                                                             Managed to take them to the next level where I have full rows ready for the next step.

Finished and basted a Baby Blocks quilt.                                                                               Question of the day – Straight line or overall design quilting?

    On the Baby Blocks quilt, it would probably be nuts to do but what about
    concentric circles radiating from the center, maybe a half inch to an
    inch apart? That would be a cool juxtaposition with the linear nature of
    the rest. My second choice (and easier one!) would be straight vertical
    lines. I like that effect too. Great colors on that quilt. And I’m
    still kind of digging #3 of the layout options. You had very productive
    #LDSI!

      Yes, it would be nuts. I have another top made in “girl” colors that I may get fancy with but I plan to do straight line with the boy blocks. I did choose # 3, just finished piecing it.
