I am a list maker, so having a visual list as well as a written list is like icing on the cake. I have been participating in Rhoda’s 2012 Finish-a-Long and while last quarter I didn’t finish everything, I certainly made plenty of progress on those items I chose to finish. Notice the word “chose.” I realized there were some projects I didn’t care if I finished at this time. For me, adding projects to a list helped me decide how important some of those items were to me and whether of not they needed to be completed at this time.
Below is a paper-pieced project I started using the leftovers from my Box of Chocolate quilt.
And while we are on the topic of chocolates, specifically my Box of Chocolates, I am still undecided on how to quilt it. Any suggestions………..
This is just a close-up of a quilting idea I am considering, more on this quilt can be found over here.
A lot of my time has been spent preparing for and hosting Veteran Quilt Sew-in’s and as a result I have a lot of left over 2 1/2 in squares that I am using as “leaders and enders” to make another quilt. Instead of alternating lights and darks I am alternating solids and prints.
Next up is a wall hanging I am making with my Stonehenge fabric started over here.
My final project for this quarter is my Hoop Sisters Mystery Quilt. I have another set of blocks yet to make. The blocks pieced and embroidered all in the hoop.
