Once upon a time there was a woman with left over fabrics from a doll quilt she made for a friend a long long time ago.
This woman then heard about Bonnie Hunter’s fabric scrap system where you use left over fabrics for other projects. With a little pre-planning you can sew these scraps while working on other projects as “leader’s and ender’s.”
This woman decided that she would use the June Taylor Square Cut Ruler so she could take advantage of the system and get sewing as quickly as possible.
Here she is with several 2 1/2 inch strips stacked on top of each other, with several sets next to each other. Quick work for cutting 2 1/2 inch squares.
This woman wasn’t content just sewing the squares together, on no, that wouldn’t do. So now you see her preparing to sew the squares into half square triangles.
Didn’t anyone ever tell her they would multiply?
This is just the beginning.
To be continued……
Enjoy the journey, Jackie
