Fabric Finds

Last weekend our children and their families met in St. Louis, MO for a mini family get together. Saint Louis is a mid-way meeting place and while the time was short it was great to have everyone together.

Of course, a trip out-of-town means fabric shopping…..

This top picture is 8 fat quarters of autumn colors.

I love, love love fall. It is my favorite season so naturally the fabrics found their way home to me. I found this in Patches Inc. in St. Charles MO, which is a wonderful small town with quaint shops.

Columbia is a 1/2 way point for us and as long as we were stopping for lunch….

This was purchased in Columbia MO at Satin Stitches.

Did I tell you I love fall? I am not sure what I am going to do with my fall fabric finds, but I sure enjoy having them.

This last find is for a gift project for a friend. She loves giraffes and I have an idea for a project. Can’t say too much though, she may be reading. 🙂

While it may seem as though I spent my time shopping instead of with the kids and grandkids, the shopping came before and after our time with them.

The time we have as a family is cherished and is never long enough.

What do you cherish in your life?                                                                                             Enjoy the journey,     Jackie
